JTET is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test — a qualifying standard for Primary (Paper 1) and Elementary (Paper 2) teachers. The exam is conducted in CBT mode with a defined duration and syllabus.

Paper 1 (Primary)
For Paper 1 (Primary): 12th + D.El.Ed (as per latest notification). Final-year candidates typically allowed.
Paper 2 (Elementary)
For Paper 2 (Elementary): Graduation + B.Ed as per norms. Final-year candidates typically allowed.
Qualifying Criteria & Cut-offs
General: 60% (90/150); relaxations up to 55% (82/150) for OBC/SC/ST/PwD as per notification.
